I played at CGCC today because weather.com said that the heat would only get as high as 95 degrees Fahrenheit and it was a great day to play. I started with the range for an hour and then played the first 9 holes with Greg and Ignus. It was the best play I had at CGCC and the first time I got to play a round with my new golf bag. 9,780 remain. We held Board meeting for my company at the Presidential Suite today from 2pm -8pm with dinner meetings afterwards; however, I still was able to get in an hour of play at the Butch Harmon School of Golf. I used the relaxed swing techniques from Dongki. Vic wanted to build off of it with a large focus on weight transfer. I stood on a moving weight shifter and also swung with an item under my right foot force forward motion in my swing. 9,784 remain. I spent 3 days on the range today with Dongki and Amber. We focused on hitting the ball at 20%, 30%, 50%, and 70%. I told Toby the CGCC pro that it felt like today I learned how to swing the golf club for the first time because it made golf so much easier. When I finally did a full swing, the ball was flying effortlessly and with a great distance. We also watched videos critiquing my swing showing a much better back swing and a lot less head motion. 9,788 remain. Today, Amber and I met with Vic, Nick and Dongki at Butch Harmon School for a 1 hour lesson. I focused again on my grip and swing. We did exercises for balance where I had my left leg back when I practiced my back swing, and also did weight shift exercises whereby my 2 feet start together and then I took my club back while stepping forward and then swinging. 9,793 remain.
