This morning, I went to Death Valley to play a round at Furnace Creek. It’s in an interesting ghost town and when I arrived at the golf shop, they were closed for 15 minutes and then a guy opened up the place and told me I was the only one playing today and that they get 1-2 tee times per month. I was surprised because the golf course was beautiful, but it’s in the middle of nowhere. 9,760 remain. Random stat: I got 1 par today over 13 holes before it got too hot for me to continue playing with a score of 42 on the front 23 on the back with a corrected score of 18 of 83 on the par 70 course (whose par was 34 on the front and 36 on the back).
