I haven’t been posting regularly in the last month so I am going to write a combination post of the month.
For the holidays, Amber found a golf group-on deal that gave us a Golf USA package that offers 10-20 different courses to choose from for 4-somes with 5-10 tickets for $100-200 each. Considering this is the same price of 1 round of golf for a small group, we purchased 3 of these. Amber and I took advantage of the offer to play 9 holes at Palm Valley. Also, my friend, Dan McLaughlin, came to Las Vegas with a buddy of his and we used the passes to play golf at Stallion Mountain Golf Club. In addition, Dan, his friend, and I also played 9 holes at Canyon Gate Country Club.
These were my only rounds this month. Although I frequently Canyon Gate Country Club for several lunches and brunches, I only went a couple times with Dongki and Amber to hit the range. Also, I was very busy working on business and studying for the LSAT so I also only went to the gym a couple times. We all did go to visit Nic and Vic at Butch Harmon Golf School as well for some practice though and to improve on some skills.
For Christmas, Amber ordered her new golf clubs and I got a lot of golf clothing and new shoes, which should help with removing slippage from my game so I look forward to trying them out.
9,630 remain.
Random stat: Still averaging around low 50’s for 9 holes, but I’ve noticed my technique is improving, distance increasing, and accuracy of shots getting better.
