I went to the Aroma Golf Academy at the AGA (Aroma Golf Range) in Korea Town. It’s located in a sky-scraper. It was a good time to get some critiques on my swing. I was told that I was holding the club a bit too strong and lifting my head when chipping. My instructors Sang made me do an exercise where I pushed out my butt while doing the down-swing so that the weight transferred better on my left foot to keep my left heel down so I didn’t end up on my left toe afterwards.
He also video recorded my swing and broke it down with arrows to show how I was moving my body similar to what was done at Butch Harmon School. It was a pretty cool deal for $12 for balls and $65 for a quick 30min lesson that turned into an hour lesson and so I tipped Sang $15. Sang gave me this text message with a bunch of high quality photos breaking down my swing:
“It was nice to meet you today. Overall, you have a very good golf swing. I want you to change your grip and put your hand a little bit more center when you set up. Also, I want your golf swing to be in the blue lines I drew in the last 2 photos I texted you. And when you do a down swing, move your hip behind your body so you can put your weight on your left heel.”

Random stat: I hit with my driver during my lesson a lot better than my 7-iron and I also hit solid shots consistently with my 5-hybrid.
