It is the day after my 10th year anniversary from the day I met Amber and I decided to write about the last year and a half of golf to catch up on my blog.
It’s hard to be exact about the golf I did in the last approximately 18 months, but I’ll take a shot.
I played 9 holes at Club Corp properties in LA: Brae Mar and Porter Valley for 4 hours of gold.
I’ve also been 4 times to spend a 1-2 hours each at the Las Vegas golf range at the MGM called Top Golf for about 7 hours of golf.
I played a round with Amber for the front 9 at Bali Hai to celebrate as a graduation from Harvard for 2 hours of golf.
I’ve also played the front 9 holes at Southern Highlands Golf Club with Amber, Kim, and Norma; however, I resigned my membership after just a month because I found out that it had a Men’s Lounge not allowing women and although this was a common practice, it is one that disturbed me as somewhat sexist.
I spent an hour at Aloha Golf doing a fitting and getting a new set of PXG (Parsons Extreme Golf) clubs. This is great for me because my former Titlelist clubs and my black bag with the Kho logo was stolen out of my Tesla and I’m now using the Kho logo white bag that was previously used by Amber.
I also had visited Salt Lake and played 9 holes a golf with Amber, Kim, and Norma for a couple hours.
And I played the front 9 for 2 hours at the Stanford Golf Course, which I got access to without being a Stanford University Student via the concierge at the Rosewood Sand Hill Hotel.
I also spent some time playing put-put on a practice green in my backyard at my new house in Vegas on the 3rd hole of Southern Highlands Golf Club and also at the UNLV practices green next to the PGA Golf Center, and at the GoDaddy HQ practice green inside their office.
During this time, I was focused on personal growth for a month, but the rest was focused a bit too much on business. Thus, during this entire duration, I only spent 21 hours on golf.
Also, I played a full round at Cascata with a caddy.
Finally, I played golf as well a for a second round in Salt Lake City with Amber’s family.
9,579 hours remain
