It was a big day of golf at the Butch Harmon School in Las Vegas. Mark, Amber, and I joined Nick Helwig from 9am-4pm with a 1 hour lunch break at 12pm. We started with the driving range practicing irons. Then, we went in the video bay. Nick helped make my stroke one continuous motion and focusing less on where to hit the ball and more in the follow-through. Afterwards, we practiced chipping and pitching. We then went to Greens and Proteins for a healthy lunch. Afterwards, we worked on bunker shots, and then Amber made the suggestion that we play 9 holes at Rio Secco next door. So we played a game with the 3 of us on the first 6 holes whereby the best shot from the 3 of us would count. This helped make our overall score better. We ended the day back at the putting green, where we practiced putting within a range of a couple holes and then played 9 holes of the best put would win. This is a game played by PGA Tour players visiting the school. 9,795 remain. Random stat: I started the day hitting a lot less distance than when I ended the day, and the speed meter used in the video bay showed that I hit the ball at 100 MPH with a 7 iron.
