I woke up at 6am and then went to the gym at 7am for 30min of cardio following by a 90 minute session with Dongki on TPI exercises and swing analysis. Then, my wife did 90 minutes with Dongki. After we both finished our sessions with Dongki, my wife and I shared what we learned over lunch. The gameplan is that we both spend the next 2 months doing 3 days a month of training with Dongki, and then 1x per week for my wife and 2x per week for months afterwards. We also plan to do weekly training at Butch Harmon School for 1 hour at the same time whereby Amber continues working with Nick and I start working with Vic, who is a regular partner of Dongki and also the head trainer at Butch Harmon School. Then, Amber and I went to Go Low Golf for practice on the driving range and 9 holes in the virtual golf course of Coure d’ Alese. I was very excited because Dongki said that I could play today and that because my back-swing was ready, I could focus on long and short game once again. 9,770 remain. Random stat: I made videos for Dongki on the virtual range and I hit the ball 130 and 131 yards with my 8-iron, but Dongki asked for me to try again with slower speed and more control and I hit the ball with 117 yards; also, Amber got a 70 and I got a 68 score on the 9 holes – we both would have shot better if we knew how fast the greens rolled because when you put on the greens, the ball goes very far and it is very different to gauge in a virtual golf course your distance and play instead of real life play.
