I went to Badlands with Amber and Kevin Park and hit balls on the range for 2-3 hours.
Also, on Thursday, March 10, I played 18 holes at Canyon Gate Country Club with Tannon Grace. I got a birdie on one of the holes. There was a tournament that did a shot-gun start so we had to get from a 11am start time to hole 15 by 2pm in order to avoid the tournament. We made it to hole 16 by 2pm.
On Saturday, March 12, I went with Kim and Suri to Mulligan’s Golf and hit the driving range and putting green. We also played the first 5 holes of their Executive Course, which was a combination of par 3/4 holes. We made it out before the rain after practicing for 3 hours, which was great preparation for the next day. Afterwards, we saw the University of Utah gymnastics team and even an athlete get a perfect 10 score.
We started having breakfast in Heber at an awesome house I rented for Amber and her female friends. Afterwards, Kim, Suri, and I went to Thanksgiving Point Golf Club, which is the best public golf course in the area. It has beautiful mountain views. Play wasn’t very fast as it took 5 hours to play 18 holes, but it was a lot of fun. Also, I hit a 300 drive, but that is only because my ball hit a cart path and then jumped on the road, and bounced and rolled down a hill onto the grass, but it landed near the putting green on hole 1.
9,596 remain.
Random stat: I got par on 1 hole at Thanksgiving Point and I started my play slow as I didn’t warm up before play due to our time constraints, and I did get 3-4 drives over 200 yards from the tees; I also made a 10 yard putt.
