I did a lot of traveling recently. En route to India via Turkish Airlines, I stopped in Istanbul and went to the business class lounge. Inside of the lounge, there was a golf range that I played with briefly with my 8-iron.
When I got to Delhi, I did a tour of the city and stopped by for lunch at the Taj Palace Hotel and played a 9-hole mini-golf course. It was an outdoor course behind the restaurant I ate lunch at. Originally, I was going to play golf at a local country club, but it was way too hot.
After a trip to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal, I caught a flight from Delhi to Prague, where I did 18 holes of indoor min-golf in a glow in the dark fun course.
The next day, Amber and I went an hour outside of the city and played 9 holes of golf at a beautiful country club overlooking a castle called Golf Resort Karlštejn. They had one of the most luxurious golf pro shops with very elegant clothing so I purchased a few items.
After a return to Boston, I then return to Vegas and practice on the driving range and putting green at Canyon Gate Country Club.
Next, Amber and I went to New York. We decided to spend the night in Long Island, where we play a round of 18 holes at the Wind Watch Country Club behind the Hyatt Regency Long Island, where we were staying.
The weather was in the late 60’s with clear skies and we were matched with a nice pair of a father and son. The course was very challenging with some tough roughs and putts. I knew early on how difficult it was going to be because the putting green was very hilly and difficult too.
I shot on the first 9 a 63 and on the back 42 plus 2 holes I skipped due to balls hitting in the water, but I would use the expected score of 6 per hole and give myself an extra 12 for a 54 on the back 9. This would give me a total of 117.
Amber shot on the first 9 a score of 58 plus skipped one hole, but with an average of about 7+ on each hole, the total score is 65. On the back, she shot 30 and skipped 4 with 7+ average for an expected score of 58 on the back. Thus, the total score would be 116.
I will be returning to Butch Harmon School of Golf this Saturday and meeting with Dongki so I plan to get back in shape and on top of my game again soon.

Random stat: I got a birdie on the course outside of Prague, but my overall round of 9 holes was very rusty and Amber and I both shot over 60.
