Although I was going to play at Nellis Air Force Base today, I went to Aliante Golf Club instead because I was with Jay and we needed to both be on an authorized list for entry, which was challenging last minute. Today, I went to Golf Galaxy near my Vegas home and while waiting for the staff to use a heating gun on a recent purchase of a Titleist 60-wedge, I decided to practice putting on the green and using the range. While waiting for Amber to return to Vegas, I went to the Las Vegas Golf Center and spent a couple hours on the range. I played the first 2 holes, but pace of play was too slow so I quit. I liked the range on the lower level more than the top floor because it avoided the wind. The top floor had a cool auto-loader for driving off a rubber tee, but the mat that you hit off of is kinda weird and so it felt weird and it seemed like the ball kep pushing right because of excessive wind. 9,621 remain Random Stat: I am still calibrating my irons because I continually hit further than I expect.  Continue Reading …
